પ. પૂ. સદગુરુ શ્રી ધ્યાનીસ્વામી હરિસ્વરૂપદાસજી ના અમૃત વચનો - ૧

।। જય શ્રી સ્વામિનારાયણ ।।

વાતો ૧ થી ૧૦ 

1. ભગવાન મારા અને હું ભગવાનનો.
• The God is mine and I am His.

2. ચોવીસ કલાક સ્વામિનારાયણ  સ્વામિનારાયણ  નામ લેવું, અને એમ ધારવું કે મારા ગુરુ અને મારા ભગવાન મારી સામે જ બેઠા છે. તો કામ કરવામાં આનંદ આવે કામ સારું થાય, કામ જલ્દી થાય અને થાક ન લાગે.
• One should enchant "Swaminarayan" "Swaminarayan" for twenty four hours a day, and assume that my "Guru" (Spiritual teacher) and my God is sitting in front of me. If one should follow this then one can enjoy the work he is performing, and work performed is very well quality, with speed and tireless.
3. જ્ઞાને કરીને સાધુ થાવું. તે ગૃહસ્થમાં રહી સાધુની માફક ભગવાનની ભક્તિ આદિ કરવું તે સાધુ થયા કહેવાય.
• Jñānē karīnē sādhu thāvuṁ
• Being a sadhu can be done through knowledge. Living a married life with devotion to the God like a monk is like being a monk.
4. જ્યાં સુધી દેહના ભાવ છે તે ન ટળે ત્યાં સુધી હું અને મારા એ બધું રહેવાનું.
• Until an attachment with the physical body is not vanished, I and mine will remain.
5. હું એમ નથી કહેતો કે તમે બધા સંસાર છોડી સાધુ થઈ જાવ. પણ જ્ઞાને કરીને સાધુ થાવું. પરમાત્માનું ધામ પામવું હશે તો જરૂર સાધુ તો થવું જ પડશે.
• I am not telling to leave this worldly life and become monk, but one has to become monk by virtue of knowledge. To achieve the God's abode one has to become monk.
6. માતા-પિતા, ગુરૂના ઉપદેશ અને વર્તન ઉપર બધાના જીવનનો આધાર છે. માતા, પિતા અને ગુરુ સારી રીતે ચાલે તો બાળકોમાં એવા સારા સંસ્કાર આવે.
• Most of the life is based on the mother-father and spiritual leader (Guru)'s preaching and their actions and behavior. If mother-father and guru act wisely then kids will get good cultural values.
7. નિયમ પ્રમાણે વર્તીએ તો કોઈ ભૂત-પ્રેત આપણી નજીક આવી શકતા નથી. પણ એ નિયમ પાળવામાં કે ભજન કરવામાં ખામી હોય તો તે આવી શકે.
• ....
8. ભગવાનનું ભજન બરાબર ન કર્યું હોય તો ભૂત પ્રેતાદિક આત્મા નડે છે.

• Bhagavānanuṁ bhajana barābara na karyuṁ hōya tō bhūta prētādika ātmā naḍē chē.
• If you have not worshiped God correctly, then ghost ghosts do not come naturally.

      9. સંગ ની શુદ્ધિ અને નિર્દોષ બુદ્ધિ રાખવી.

• Keep the cleanliness of the companionship and keep the intellect innocent.

     10. આપણે આપણું જોઈ લેવું, બીજાનું જોવા સુધારવા જઈએ તો આપના મોક્ષ માર્ગમાં વિઘ્ન રહે. આપણે આપણું હિત કરી લેવું તે હિતાવહ છે.અને આપણી જે ખામી હોય તે ટાળી નાંખવી.

• We should look into ourselves first. If we attempt to see or improve others it becomes obstacle in our path to pure spirituality. We should try to improve ourselves and get rid of any impurity that we may have.
